Day Options Services

Day Options gives people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in developmental programs, integrate into the community and form friendships while having FUN.

Day Options Program

The program runs each Monday to Friday from 9am - 3pm. Clients have a four week break over Christmas and return in mid January.

Referral to the Day Options program is through Disability SA. The Day Options Program has a developmental focus. Each participant has an individual program with clear outcomes. The plan is developed after consultation with the family, client, Disability SA, and our service.

Costs
The client contributes $5 a day to access the Program. This fee incorporates all resource material and activities. From time to time the group attends local events which may incur an additional cost. For example they may visit the Field Days, the Sheep Dog Trials or out for lunch to celebrate someone's birthday.

Transport
Clients living in Renmark or Berri are picked up and returned home by the Riverland Bus Service (Townsend's Bus). Clients living in all other Riverland towns receive a door to door service using Respite's fleet of vehicles which are wheelchair accessible. The cost is $6 per day.
