Respite Services / Sites

RRRSI provides the following options of Respite services

  • Centred Based Respite (accommodates up to 5 clients)
  • Own Home Respite
  • In Support Worker’s Respite
  • Alternative Respite (Cabin/Hotel/Motel)

All sites undergo Risk Assessments to determine suitability and our Centre Based Respite venue is certified with a Children’s Licence by the Department
of Families and Communities SA.

Respite services are accessible for 365 days/year, however our Centre Based Respite service is moving towards Prescriptive (set dates) Respite.

Respite services are available to adults and children (age 5 and over) and can be for a few hours, a day or a weekend. Longer periods of Respite are available, subject to funding and availability.

Respite can be tailored to include additional activities (e.g. sporting events, fishing, Chaffey Theatre etc.).

How can you access our service

A referral from Disability services (formerly Disability SA) is required to access funded services. Self funded access or access by means of alternative funding (other agencies) is available. We are more than happy to discuss these options with you.

All access to our services is subject to an intake assessment to determine our suitability and ability to cater for your needs.
